Brian is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the condition assessment and remediation of damaged and deteriorating structures. Brian was awarded a Professorship by Queens University in recognition of his extensive experience and also performs expert witness duties
Enda has considerable experience in the assessment and innovative remediation of a wide range of damaged and deteriorating structures such as buildings, bridges, multi story car parks, jetties and tunnels. He is responsible for the day to day running of the practice were he manages a number of specialist engineering teams.
Ben is a Chartered Civil Engineer who specialises in assessing and extending the life of existing infrastructure. He has extensive knowledge in the Cathodic Protection of reinforced concrete, marine metallic and on land metallic structures.
Jason is a Civil/Structural Engineer specialising in the inspection, non-destructive testing, structural assessment and cathodic protection of reinforced concrete structures. Jason is one of the lead Engineers in the practice who manages the on-site investigation teams planning the projects from initial site works through to production of detailed reports.
Encarna is a highly experienced Draughtsperson who joined the company after moving from her homeland of Spain in 2014 . She has in excess of 18 years experience working as a Civil and Architectural Draughtsperson.
Jonathon is a Chartered Engineer with over 5 years of experience in the design, inspection, testing and remediation of civil engineering projects. He leads the Structural Health Monitoring Team planning and conducting structural assessments, load tests and condition monitoring of new and historic structures.
Sam graduated with a Master’s Degree in Construction and Project Management from Queen’s University Belfast in 2017, having previously completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Robert Joined McFarland Consulting in 2018 after graduating with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Building Surveying. Since joining the team Robert has gained extensive experience assessing the condition of buildings and infrastructure in both private and public sectors throughout the UK and Ireland.
After serving three years as a CNC Machine Operator and Operations Team Leader, Thomas was successful in securing a place on the Work Plus Apprenticeship Programme offering him the opportunity to study part time at South West College Omagh, whilst working as an Apprentice Civil Engineer for McFarland Consulting Ltd.
After serving two years as a Royal Naval Officer Robert was offered the opportunity to study part time at Belfast Metropolitan College, whilst working as an Apprentice for McFarland Consulting Ltd. Currently working towards his Level 3 Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment, hoping to eventually achieve his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
